Use an iPad in your business

Notes
It is always useful to keep notes whether they are one off or grouped by project. Using the built in Notes app you can save a note from a web page, a document or a picture. Thus if a customer shows you a light fitting they require, for example, you can take a picture and make a note. This workflow can save time.

Pages
When you need to create a report you can use the word processor Pages. It is easy to drop in pictures or charts or have your colleagues collaborate on the document to get the best content.
Using iCloud your work is automatically saved and can be accessed on your other devices. You can also easily share the document using the share sheet.

Quickbooks
You can save time and get paid faster if you can create an invoice and send it while you are with your customer. Using the web based app you can download your bank statement and analyse the entries. Using Quickbooks dashboard you can review your business finances and monitor aspects such as monies due in or out.
Quickbooks also has an option to enable you to run payroll if the free HMRC option is not sufficient.

Find Friends
Assume that you have a customer call and you want to know which of your mobile colleagues is closest to the customer you can look up their location and choose the most appropriate one. Time can be saved and more importantly customer satisfaction can be increased.
It could also be used to know where your kids are!

Adobe Reader
If you receive a document in your email that requires a signature you can open it in Adobe Reader, sign it and return to the sender without having to go back to your office, print it out sign it, scan it and send it back.
Also using the iPad camera you can scan documents and create a multi page document.

Keynote
The keynote app is the best for creating and showing a presentation. You can maximise your time by showing your presentation on other iPads using Keynote link via iCloud. Also if you are presenting to a small group you can easily link your iPad to Apple tv and save time setting up using cables.
